Since my Mac Lion OSX upgrade some weeks ago I have had some connection problems using Google Chrome or Safari. As a whole my internet connections and email are ok but with certain issues. One of the websites I am having difficulty with is getting an updated driver from Epson. I access the website ok but when I try to download the driver I get this message:
I have had similar problems with certain website pages and wondered if it could be related to Google Chrome servers or my Mac OS. I have checked the Google prefs but cannot see any problems. It is also noted that when I check "about Google Chrome" it says " update server not available (error: 11) consequently the "update now" button is greyed out so can't be used.
It's probably not a web browser issue, but a connectivity issue. You can verify this in the command line if you are comfortable doing that, but chances are there is nothing you can do about this except try again later.
