I have a .VOB file of a music video. Problem is the .VOB file (of the music video) also includes about a 30 sec. portion that I want to delete out of the .vob file.

How do I do this? And sorry if this question has been posted before. I did a quick search but didn't really find anything.

You also will need the Apple mpeg2playbackcomponent($20 from Apple Store), since VOB files are usually mpeg-2 and Streamclip requires that component to work with mpeg-2. Here is the URL for Streamclip:
