This is an extremely dumb question, I know, so respond accordingly.

My G3 300 has the IXMicro 3d video card installed. But according to the Apple System Profiler, it also has an ATI card, which I don't see inside the computer. Is it part of the motherboard or something?

You didn't mention which G3 system that you have. Regardless, you have a Rage Pro GPU wave soldered to the motherboard along with its support chips (such as VRAM, etc).

Had one. It's a code name Gossamer 66 MHz motherboard series B and it does have a an ATI chip as part of the system chipset.

If you look at the Motherboard, right around where the monitor port is, you'll see an ATI chip.

It's not a full card in a slot, but the chip is on the motherboard and there is a VRAM slot too.

Thanks for the answer, folks. I love the resources this forum offers (although some of the flaming gets tiring).
