andreas_g4,
Ya, that's a Jester's Cap from the Ice Age edition. I'm a really old school player but I don't play Magic anymore. I just happen to find this card when I was moving and I remember it was one of my favourite's to use. I played the game when it first started...had all those nice cards, Alpha/Beta moxes, black lotus, etc, you name it..I can remember I had a total of 63 dual lands
Sigh, the good ole high school days.

id think of it as an iZong Mini.
its a zong because of the z-shaped body. it a classic z shaped design which catches ice.
however, it is smaller than most real zongs, so ill go with iZong at the least.
above pic was taken with a casio ex-z50 exilim camera. its a nice little pocket camera for quick snapshots. 2.0 inch screen, 5megapixel, 300 shot battery life.

dont need permission. just use a photo hosting site (imageshack.us) etc and then put the link up in the thread. or you can link the picture to the thread and have the picture come up instead of the actual text link itself.

Here is an updated picture....I make due with what I have however, I did have to stop using my iCurve because the size of my monitor is low.
I am also undecided if I want to go with dual screens or just the way it is setup.
EDIT: Fixed my spelling.

Interesting setup. Though why not put the PB where the scanner is and vice versa? I'm assuming the monitor is hooked up to the PM.

I don't use the PowerBook at the desk much, so it usually just goes up there to charge (before I got the PowerMac, I used to run the same setup from the PowerBook up top.)
I might wind up making that change, though, it's a great suggestion, thanks!

Yep, they were the first generation of creatures... they made white and silver. I'm sure you could still find them somewhere online.

Just got the 24" Dell FPW. I'm in heaven with this thing.
I just ordered mine this past Monday and it arrived to my office before lunch yesterday (Wednesday) I wanted to be able to sign for it . I hooked it up at my office to check for any defects. It's really sick isn't it? Not one dead pixel either and there must have been 15 people in my office to come by and check it out. The thing is phenomenal just blows away my 21" CRT and all for $780 + tax from Dell. (the sale ended Wednesday, but there will be others)
I don't think it will be used with my powerbook much though as I use my PB upstairs in my bedroom and this monitor plays High Def signals downstairs with my main system (downloaded from Usenet) and looks great doing it.

In the back is my 42 inch Panasonic Plasma hooked to my MDG (Its a Canadian computer maker) PC. Im currently 17 and among the younger generation of Mac users. I just applied for a position at The Apple Store (hopefully I get it). I also included 2 of my current cellphones-The RAZR and Sidekick 2. Just BTW, I earned all these gadgets from working my ass off for the last 9 years, so my parents dont spoil me : )

Since you said you earned everything by working for the last 9 years, (which would be since you were 8.) what did you do? I am 13 and looking for a way to make enough money to buy a Powerbook 15". I'm looking for suggestions. Anyway, thanks in advance.

i'm sixteen now and got my 15" powerbook/ipod last september when i was fifteen. if you want these things young and the parents won't pay for you, you're going to have to save, work, save, and work. do random things around the house (wash the car, mow the lawn, etc.) and maybe get a small job at a neighbors house raking leaves or something. you have to be dedicated and keep saving.
every dollar will go a long way. so if your mom gives you a hundred bucks for your birthday, maybe ask her to put some of it in the bank so you can earn interest on it.
it's harder when you are younger though. it took me over four years to earn enough for a powerbook. but so far this year (since i spent it on the powerbook) i have made enough to buy myself a digital SLR and a couple of lenses, which isn't too cheap. just keep working at it, it won't come overnight, but it will come.
talk with your parents too. they often will find ways to help you.

Yea, I've been bugging my parents about it for awhile, and well, the answer is no (on them buying it). I have to save up myself. That's what I did for my iPod. (Although $300 is alot less than $2000.) So far I have some money saved up, and my birthday & Christmas is coming up, so I could save some of the money I get then.
P.S. Right now I'm stuck on Win XP. Were you a Mac user before your PowerBook?
P.S.S. How much money did you save per week? I wanna compare it to what im making.

If it's just about getting rid of XP and switching to Mac OS X, I guess you do know that there are cheaper ways than buying a $2000 PowerBook. I love my PowerBooks, but they sure aren't cheap. You could start off with something a bit cheaper like a Mac mini or an iBook (if it has to be portable). Of course if it's specifically about the PowerBook, you better start saving every penny.

It's more than just OS X. I want/ need a widescreen portable, and the 15" PowerBook has that. (Plus, I really like it.) I need a DVD-R Dual Layer drive, and the iBook doesn't have that. If I were getting a desktop, I would probably get the 17" iMac (I think it has a DL drive in it.)
Still alot of cash to cough up.
P.S. For some reason the polycarbonate of the iBook makes me want to puke.
