Installed on the system (and on the restore DVDs).

Dangit!

I'll have to check, but I just received a Mac Mini today that I bought for my parents and I also ordered iLife '06 because a couple days ago when I ordered the Mini from the Apple Store web site it was stating that they were still shipping with iLife '05.

It's not a huge loss theough, I'll just keep it for myself and install it on my eMac.

On a side note: I got a better discount through my employer's purchase program than the Apple Education discount was offering.

DON'T OPEN THE iLIFE!!!!!

Even if the new mini has '05, you can upgrade to '06 for $10 with the up to date program.

Sorry to take so long getting back.

The Mini did come with installed with iLife '06. I was quite surprised.

It was the cheapest, no options, Mini available.

Thanks Apple.

Oops, I read your post and checked again. NOT installed, but an iLife '06 Install DVD is included in the box.

I went to install it and couldn't because iLife '06 needs OS 10.4.4 and OS 10.4.3 came preinstalled on the Mini, I needed to run "Software update". Slight problem, on that computer there's only dial-up connection right now. TOO big of an update to do over dial-up. But DSL will be connected Friday.

So... I'll have to retract my "Thanks Apple" and get back to you guys.
