Here's the scenario. I want to put up a 32 inch Dell LCD on one wall which is adjacent to the all I have my imac on . . . .my seats are going to be directed to the LCD so the iMac screen is visible while I'm watching tv.

My question is - When mirroring my iMac onto the LCD, is there anyway to shut off the iMac screen so that there isn't the bright screen off on the side?

Hey,

Can you not just turn the brightness of the iMac's display right down? That's what I do when watching videos on an external screen connected to my PowerBook. Use the F1 key.
