Post your pics of beautiful women. The catch is the women have to be from famous works of art. By famous, I mean that they must have a place in the canon of art history. Botticelli, Degas, Bouguereau, Manet, Ingres = Yes. Your cousin Nigel's airbushed soft-porn Lucy-Lawless-with-a-python paintings = no.

I open with,

1. Famed Renaissance beauty Simonetta Vespucci, painted by Piero di Cosimo.
2. And the Three Graces from Botticelli's Primavera (detail)

Botticelli's Birth of Venus.... Duhh! best nude redhead of the renaissance! And, yeah I'm not sure if this is the best idea ever. Definately not the worst.

It works... the WHOLE PAGE and the IMAGES have to load first. THEN the re-sizer comes into effect.

It would be nice if it worked the other way around.

That's how it's supposed to work, however, it isn't working for me.

P.S. Please don't yell at me, I'm sensitive.

...drool...

by Susan Rios. Yes, Susan Rios has her place in the canon of art history. I know this because I just put her there, five minutes ago. If you want to argue about that, meet me at dawn on the field behind the old Vicarage. And bring your sword.

Titian's Venus of Urbino is pretty hotarific for the 16th century.

As far as a military tactic, I don't know... looks like her fellow soldiers are a bit distracted.
