I have a ton of movies I recorded on my camera and they appear as .THM If I change them to .AVI they will not play. Is there an application for .THM? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

What camera is it?

Only info I find on .thm indicates they're thumbnail files.

IIRC, you'll have to use the custom software that came with the camera to view/play/convert those thm files. And you might be so lucky that the software is only available for Windows.
Yay closed, proprietary formats!

FWIW, on my phone (Sony Ericsson), .thm files are theme files and not video content. I hate to ask a dumb question, but are you sure that these .thm files are videos?

JKT, I think the first clue was "I have a ton of movies I recorded on my camera and they appear as .THM"
There is some make and model of camera that creates 'THM' files for it's movies, I've seen it during my various tech support stints...whatever make/model frankthetank966 has, that's it.
