Hello all, I have a question about the new safari Version 4.0.3 (6531.9) and downloading files from webpages.

I click on the link for the file and a new window opens I get a black screen and I see the spinning loading icon but that is it, it will do that for about a min or so then stops and I get no file, I do not get an error I do not get anything, I want the file.

What kind of files ?

You might have an old, broken plugin installed that is supposed to handle that file type.

zip/rar what not all types has not mattered.

How do I change the plugins, OBTW I just installed Snow Leopard the other day as well, forgot to mention that.

The plugins are in

/Users/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
or /Library/Internet Plug-Ins

I had a similar issue with PDFs, and had to remove my beloved SchuberIT PDF reader plugin.
