On top of a new beta of OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 delivered
ahead of schedule, Apple on Monday also issued a new version of its iTunes Connect Sales and Trends Tool. The program aids developers in understanding more about when and where sales are occurring as well as app data such as how buyers react to price hikes or sales and other insights. The update includes the ability to group sales by territory or across a specified time period.
The Sales and Trends tool now lets developers view sales across a specified period of time, group sales according to one of several modifiers, apply filters to raw data for their analysis, and see total proceeds in US dollars as well as native currency. The look overall has been modified to adopt the design language of iOS 7, including the bar and line graphs which change dynamically as modifiers are applied to the raw data.
The updated Sales and Trends Tool is now available to both iOS app developers as well as iBookstore authors through iTunes Connect.
