Jasoco: yeah, mainly because i keep planning to work on my themes and i try not to run any of them for a while so that i can work on them with a 'fresh perspective' -- maybe i'm just odd.
On a similar note, i've been working on the Watercolor red variant ("strawberry") and it should be out soon. For those interested I've posted a preview in a new thread.

My rather simple green desktop. Still need to download PTHClock for my menubar clock... I'll get around to it eventually...
Uhm, Using DragThing, WaterColor Olive Theme by Carbon and the matching icon set from Wagmedia. Desktop Picture from deviantart here.
Enjoy.

Click for 1024x768 version.

It's not os ten, but it looks quite close. Thanks to http://www.aquamakeover.com/
Fullview, click here.
Notice how close iCab looks the os ten version. There is no theme or hacks specificly for this app installed.

Background picture was taken at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Watercolor theme, BeOS iconset, Silk 1.5alpha is setting the default font to Tahoma. Tahome is narrower than the default Lucida font, so ProjectBuilder's menu doesn't collide with menu items any more.

Here is my updated screen shot - yes I do update at this break-neck pace all the time.
When all else fails, its back to good ol' SmoothStripes and Snow.E2.
New things I am using that are displayed include: - Konfabulator widget that automatically displays the album cover art from the song you are listening to in itunes
- A zoomed in Keynote icon from Xicons.com
- ... and a snazzy Zelda [Wind Waker] desktop - the current game I'm playing!

The zelda desktop was editted from a pic I saw in a SpyMac post. I changed it around for the PowerBook resolution.
Here is the pic
Here is the original from Spymac
I am really enjoying the game too! I'm not far at all, but I'll be playing alot this weekend.

The widget in the lower-right corner, the one showing CPU load, uptime and, I assume, the number of unread email messages, what is that?

Perhaps you didn't try the latest version (1.2.5+)? It have brand-new icons.

Yes, I've seen the so called nice icons. As nice as Meaty is, it has icons no where near as clear, crisp and clean as WP.
And even though they can be replaced, the program has a horrible menu. WP has a nicely laid out menu.
I tried using Meaty's prefs to make the menu look good and failed.. there just aren't enough options. And I already paid.
And if I'm going to replace WeatherPop with anything, it'll be a Widget of my own design.

Yeaps, Natalie is luuurvely
The one I currently have (and as shown in the link) is a slightly "modified" version. Removed quite a bit of unnecessary artifacts. And I forgot where I got the pict from :/
So, if you want the pict, click the e-mail me button and send me your e-mail addy
Oh yeah, one more thing: I only have a 1024x768 version.
Cheers.
PS: Do you have any Natalie pix to share?
Can't seem to find any nice ones these days since Imbruglia.com decided to shut down.

This applies to the previous post. Where can I get that "Lil Cappuccino" Theme, and backgrond ? I think it looks great, and oddly enough goes well with the colors in our office.
Thanks,

Somehow I knew I should have kept talking..
Whistler was the codename of XP in the pre "Public" Beta days. It wentr through many UI changes.
Started with just the close/min/max buttons changed. Then the entire window frame. Then eventually the crapfest
Fisher Price UI you see now.
I followed it for a few months in my quest to find myself and decide which OS I'd be using for the rest of my life.
I had only a 300MHz AMD K6 at the time. Sure as hell wouldn't even support the final XP and I knew it.
So I looked for an alternative. Would I stay on Windows? Would I switch to Linux?
Would I switch to BeOS (Which had the best chance at the time... for a while.)
or should I take the plunge and go all the way... switch to Mac.
Anyway, there are probably still articles about Whistler online somewhere with screenshots.
Try Googleing for "Windows Whistler" and such.
Basically, Microsoft should have kept the Whistler look and stayed away
from the eye-burning bright blue and green look.
Edit: Here's some links:
http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/whistler_beta1.asp
http://www.lockergnome.com/issues/special/whistler.html
Frankly, I think these Whistler looks had a much more pleasing to the eye look than what they have now.
If I was forced to use XP, I'd rather look at that than what XP is now.
