Hello -
I recently came across a whole heard of b&w g3 systems with no drives & no ram. It is just the processor, motherboard and case. It is a 400mhz G3 processor and the rev2 motherboard.
Anywoo, thought i'd give my fellow macnners first shot at them. I think i'd like $210 each plus shipping.

128mb sdram - $20
10gb hard drive - $15
stock rage 128 video card - $35
cd-rom - $20
that puts you at $300 for a 400mhz rev. 2 b&w right around stock. seems pretty reasonable to me. i guess the selling point here is you can add your own, more appropriate parts (bigger hard drive, cd-rw, etc.) without paying for them in the upfront cost of the system only to be replace (as you would with a stock b&w)
whatever the case, i don't know why i'm defending the price since haven't had any problem selling them
