Cargo's. That the same as khaki's? Khaki is a colour here... afaik.
I don't wear jeans.

i dunno, khakis (in the traditional sense, as in like cloth/fabric pants) aren't very good. I don't mind khaki (the color) nylon (or polyester, or whatever that waterproof plasticy stuff is) cargo shorts, and jeans are ok, too
so jeans...

Jeans. Although, I have been toying with the idea of switching to khakis.

Both. Usually jeans if it's casual and Dockers style/khakis for work if it's not a casual work-place. I guess I lean *more* towards jeans, but I do find Dockers style/khakis sorta comfy. A little more "roomy" if you know what I mean.
I've got a weird assortment of clothes which I have acquired over the ages both for work and play. Usually I just wear whatever isn't in the laundry bin and is still *CLEAN*

Fur pelts. Depends on what I killed that morning or the night before. If I get a large animal, I may be dressed for a week or so. PETA be damned!
Oh.. and baring that, jeans or cargo pants.

presumably by khaki's we are talking about combats? if so, khakis. 10 pounds at the army surplus thank you very much. The pockets are so useful. if we are talking about 'dockers style chinos' or anything approaching that, well... not khakis. I have to agree with Daimoni about button down collars - a definite no no. As bad as sandals with socks.

Usually khakis, but there are times when I felt jeans were the better choice. Concerts are usually when I'll switch to jeans. It's not cool going to a Rob Zombie concert in khaki's.

work pants!!
hell yes. the polyester/cotton blend things. either used from the salvation army (already broken in, mmmm) or brand new from the work clothes store they are sturdy, grey, inexpensive and lovely. theyre my favorite type of pant by far.
sometimes in the winter i wear jeans cause theyre warmer for wandering about in the cold (the wind blows through the workpants like im wearing tissue paper on my legs or something).
i used to wear khakis when i worked for Kinkos, but now that i dont have to, i dont really like em all that much. if i did i would wear plain front khakis cause all those pleats are gross.

It's rare to find Jeans that I really like. Kahki's I usually just cut them off, and use them as shorts.
I like anything with an elastic waist. I realize that it's a big no-no fasion wise, but dangit, sometimes my stomach is way bigger than other times.
So I guess Kahki's or cargos work well. Not usually elastic, but hey you can't have everything.
