Just wondering how the Intel updates are coming. It has been a while since we've heard anything.

The latest ShapeShifter is still 2.4b4. I went back to 2.4b3 because it works better for me.

Oh well.

Yeah, 2.4b4 killed my Intel and all applications. So I reverted, too, back to b3...

Where did you find 2.4b3 then?

Please... I would REALLY like to hear about updates, not downgrades...

Oh well. Have a hay day! I totally uninstalled SS. The fact that you need a terminal hack to get other apps to work is just plain silly.

Me too, but if 2.4b3 was a bit more usable than b4 I'm in for a try. However that version is unavailable.

But as Unsanitys blog reads: the actual problem is hard to solve, so hard indeed there is no fix yet and if there were one we likely would have it by now.

Smeger married lately, which may put his effort into a different direction for the time being. ;-)

So we might have a bit of a bumpy road ahead. My brandnew Mac Pro suffers a lot from running nothing but stripes 'n blue blobs, it's a shame, and whatnot....

2.4b4 runs fine (knock on wood) on my MacBook with 10.4.8 - using DSKY's SIRO and loving it

While not an SS update specifially, APE has been updated in the beta weblog at Unsanity... You get it via Windowshade X or FruitMenu instals... Odd, I know

Apparently, this new APE will help with the current beta of SS. I will report my findings.

What version exactly? Also is that with the APE from the other apps?

Look here: [unsanity] Weblog - Unsanity - Makers of Haxies, small useful utilities that enhance and redefine how Mac OS X works.

Use WindowShade X 4.1b3 which installs a new APE version that fixes a lot of issues, and use ShapeShifter 2.4b4 . There have been no issue for me so far.

Does anyone know where I could find it or fix my Camino?

Thats the version I have, and the entire top bar of Camino isnt "ShapeShifted" - this along with Dictionary, Garageband, and more.

If it helps, I am running NEOS 2.xx....

Until the developer gets SS out of beta, I am using Uno. Unsanity seems to be going as slow as Adobe at updating their software for universal.

Which is rather odd, as Adobe's apps are like, gynormous and Unsanity's haxies are like, wait, let me get my glasses on...

I don't know if that theme causes any issues, I suggest you try the usual procedure of clearing caches manually, switch to another theme and reapply NEOS and restart your Mac.

If you happend to get no issues with another theme and they reappear with NEOS it might be an issue by that specific theme. I tested with three themes and had no problems so far but I do not use NEOS so I cannot comment on that.
