New Dock Skin, See Below
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I've been asked before to group all my dock skin releases within one thread. So there you go.

My first dock skins released for this thread are called "Fisher*Price", they are meant to go along with the Mac OS XP Luna theme and/or Mac OS XP silver theme. I'm not a Photoshop genius (self-taught) and this is as close as I could get to reproducing the red XP buttons...I think they look good. What do you think?

You can now download them at http://iheartny.com.

Here's the red version:

Here's the blue version:

Here's the yellow version:

Here's the grey version:

Here's the green version:

Here's the green round version:

Those look very nice Dace, my favorites of your skins so far. I think you should add all of your skins to this thread, even the old ones so they are all in this thread.

I don't know I just made them as close as possible (by me) to the original ones that Microsoft created.

Thanks Kevin. I'll probably do that... a sort of archive of the many skins I've created

Do they work with A-Dock? If not then it would be nice if you made some for A-Dock.

I believe all SkinADock dock skins work with A-Dock...u proably have to place the dock skins in a different folder. I think it's Home/Library/Application Support/A-Dock/Themes...but I'm not sure, you'll have to read the A-dock "manual".

All Skin-A-Dock skins work, but not all look right due to the way it interpets them. Since they work better with A-Dock than Skin-A-Dock its kinda nice.

Awesome skins, btw.

Thank you and thank you kovacs...

...may I just ask that no one "repost" images please. Not being a jerk, it's just that this thread will be (and is) image intensive and I just don't want two copies of an image of a dock skin. Agreed? Refer to the dock skin by name only please.

Hope everyone understands.

Small update (excuse to bump this back on top : )

Watercolor Olive is now available at iheartNY

----------------------------------------------------------

Several dock skins, including my Milky dock skin, have been ported over to WinXP. For those who don't know...there's an app on WinXP called ObjectDock that simulates the dock of Mac OS X. it's still at an early stage.

Here are some links:

Those are on the iheartNY website and come bundled with the app. I didn't create those, Matthew Bice did...this is a thread listing all of the dock skins I created.

Thats ok. It crossed my mind that you would have thought that I created those. Matthew created some icons which put together formed the Lawn dock, then the programmer from ittpoi was inspired by those icons and the ingenuity of theming the dock...that him and Matthew created Skin-a-Dock.

Have you thought about making a theme based on your Glass dock skins, where all the elements have a semi Alpha transparency?

And so the collection grows....new D-Skins (yeah that's what I call them now). These ones were inspired by the new brushed buttons, it's not finished...missing 2 variations, but I decided to go ahead and release them.

The "Smooth" D-Skins:

Smooth

Smooth Aqua

Smooth Graphite

Smooth Pill

Available soon at I heart NY.

I believe Apple's calling those buttons 'Plastic', so you might want to name your Dock skin that too.

They are pretty neat.
