I have uninstalled my CS2 premium bacause my Photoshop din't work

Now with re-installing it says my veriosn cue is already installed, Although there is still an icon is sys pref, whenever I click it, it says "application not installed" on this machine

For uninstalling CS2 I have followed the bundled instructions from Adobe, so I am not sure what is wrong here

Can some one shed some light on this and let me break out of this catch-22

Try doing a custom install and not choose Version Cue. Hope that helps

tried that too, didn't change anything, version cue still shows while it isn't there
