I need to replace my Airport based network with a new system (very sad that Apple left the networking hardware space). I am leaning to the Eero mesh network product line. My question is whether my current Airport Express that uses Airplay to link iTunes and my stereo will still work. Using the Airport Utility, the Airport Express is currently set up to "Extend a wireless network" and I am concerned whether such an option with a non Airport network is a possibility.
