Hi all,

I wanted to try watching an ep of "Seinfeld" from Superstation TBS' website. Now mind you, I have Flip4Mac installed and configured. BUT, after open the TBS website in Firefox, I select the episode I want to watch and after I see the trailer/commercial, the TBS video screen pops up its "sad face" and "Sorry, this video requires Microsoft Windows to play." How can I get this to work?

Needless to say, this is why I HATE MICRO$$$LOTH!!!!

Get the Perian plugin. That should solve your problem.
Backups are like guns and condoms. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

MicroSith would be more accurate in describing their battle against all things standard and interoperable, but the Sith would object, and we don't want to tick those guys off...

But Perian should do the trick.

Pray tell, just how have you configured Flip4Mac and/or your browser that you got it to work? Your tips are much appreciated so, just what is the trick?

**Sorry for the double-post**

I must be missing something or missing a step so please enlighten me. Even after I installed the "Perian" plug-in as well as trying this using Flip4Mac, I still cannot watch videos from the TBS website (not under Flip4Mac nor after installing the "Perian" plug-in), So, how did you get this to work?

From the Perian website: "Windows Media® is unsupported, use the Flip4Mac WMV Components instead". I've tried multiple browsers - IE-Safari-Opera - no dice on my G5. I've tried different user agent strings in Safari also, again it doesn't work. Please let us know how you are able to watch these videos.
