When you think of peanut butter cups/candy...

What is the brand that you think of?
What is the first one that comes to mind, not necessarily your favorite.
I'm doing some research for a class and I am wondering what kind of peanut butter candy people would buy and if it is different out of the U.S.
If I could get 25 responses (that are actually serious), I'd be doing well. I appreciate your help.

I think putting the term 'peanut-butter cup' may have skewed the results if its supposed to be any candy.

Not really, I'm kinda wondering if there is an alternative. Maybe in Europe?

Ok, then, Reese' is mega-dominant then. Any alternatives are cheap 3rd party ones that cheapasses hand out on Halloween.

That's what, 16 responses and KeriVit needs 25, minimum?

Since I just ate one a couple days ago, M-azing peanut butter candy bar was the first thing that came to my mind:
It was delicious, like Reeses Pieces mixed with a Nestle Crunch bar.
It's also very fattening so it was the only thing I ate for lunch that day.

I abhor Wal-Mart, but Sam's choice mini peanut butter cups kick Reese's ass all day everyday.

I have to say I agree with you Railroader, I just am trying to figure out why no one has challenged Reese's yet... for a class in branding anyway. This isn't just something that keeps me up nights.

Actually, I like Twix Peanutbutter better than Reese's and Sam's ... cups.

Nutella is sold here in the U.S. I'm surprised it hasn't caught on over here. It is lots better than peanut butter, IMHO.
When our Austauschschueler (exchange students for the German-impaired) in high school came to the US, they all took back jars of peanut butter with them, and we all took back jars of Nutella with us (this was before Nutella became easier to find over here)

I do think of Reese's, but that's because I lived in the US before. My favourite though is peanut butter M&M's. Too bad they don't have it here (just plain (now branded as choco), peanut and crispy).
The Dutch invented peanut butter, I love their stuff. Unfortunately, you can only get sweetened peanut butter in the UK.

Yeah, my GF's sister was a foreign exchange student in Germany and introduced her to it a few years ago, and we managed to find some at a Hy-Vee here in Iowa.

Nutella now is manufactured in the US, they build a plant here. Good for us.

In certain intimate situations, wouldn't there be a possibility of that getting stuck to the roof of your mouth?
