A friend of mine brought his external HDD (USB 2.0) with him to school and wanted me to copy some of my Anime to his disc so i pluged that sucker right into my Pbook. It did appear on the desktop but i couldn't modify it. Anyone know the cause of this?

PS: there was no write protect switch on the drive.
