Boot CD Network Support

Does the MacOS 9.2.1 boot CD support networking? If so, just Appletalk? I am trying to get it so that I can restore the OS on my iBook via a disk image and network instead of having to use the CD.

I believe Appletalk would be your only choice in this case, no other networking utils are enabled on the boot CD.
