I put a 6500 mobo in my 6360 and it worked fine for about 1 month. I tried to wake it up from sleep one day and it wouldn't - no signal to monitor, light on front of box wasn't on. Three finger salute would get a bong like it was going to restart but still nothing. I thought it might be the battery so I took the one off the 6360 but still no go. Put the 6360 mobo back in ( with its original battery ) and everything is fine now. So..... would a battery be OK on one mobo but not the other ? ie should I try a new battery or look for another fix ? TIA

You might want to try a totally fresh battery, but beyond that I wasn't aware taht 6360s would easily accept the motherboard from a very different case. I am aware that the basic connections to the system are teh same and physically fit, but wasn't aware that it was a recommended upgrade.
