Hello,

I would like to get more into the system monitoring and make sure that everything runs well and smoothly.
do you know where i can find some ressources, web page, book where i can learn what to do and understand what all the message in log really mean?

O'Reilly's books on OS X are a comprehensive introduction to the UNIX back-end of OS X.

Note that OS X is VERY different from Windows in that it really doesn't need constant babying. In fact, you're much more likely to mess things up rather than improve them when you start futzing around.

i would probably not touch anything, but i just want to understand what happens and see what the source could be in case of problems
