Hello,
Does someone know when and where i can get a chance to see the Northern Lights in Europe? i heard they could be seen in Scotland. Also, when are they viewable. i think it's in Feb or Sept, but i might be wrong.

They should be viewable any time it's dark, really. Just happens to be more darkness in winter. Here in Alaska, we can see them from late September - March or so. Should be about the same for Europe, maybe less due to latitude and light pollution.
I'm sure someone in northern europe will chime in.

In Nunavik, we used to see them throughout the Summer as well.
The key thing, as you said, is to get out of the city, very far of them. Europe seems to be so enligthened...

Agreed. We had a hell of a show in late October, but nothing since. We had two weeks straight of sub-zero crystal clear nights in November, and nothing...
