Some little punk ass ****ing kid or tweeker stole my car stereo last night. I live in a small time, and this comes as quite a shock.

I'm guessing it was for drug money... it's rampant in the small town I grew up in.

When I was in Sacramento, some f*cker broke into my pickup TWICE in one month. The Apartment supposedly had security cameras, but they didn't catch it both times.

They tore apart my dash, but that actually just snapped back together. The funny part was that they couldn't get my stereo out, so they stole the faceplate. I mean, it's not like it was a nice stereo. It was Tape AM/FM, not even CD. Those guys have to be f*cking morons. What the hell do you do with a faceplate?!

Hang it on your wall and reminisce about the time you almost stole that stereo.

My brother and I got broke in on once. Little pissant took a shot at us with a .25 automatic.
My brother quickly dispatched him with one round.

That's called Instant Karma.

Although it was probably a long time coming.

Too bad your brother has to carry around that guy in his brain/heart/soul forever, now.

good call, tho its generally accepted that its best to kill the guy, since you've less chance of being sued by his loser relatives that way. at least he tooka shot at YOU first....definitely makes it a pretty open and shut case.

To add insult to injury, we went to the river yesterday and some a**hole punched holes in the tires of my buddy's truck and my g/f car.

Maybe it was your buddy's gf because he's cheating on her with your gf?

Um, no. We were all there together. A guy left a note on my g/f car that said "Private Property. No parking please". We talked to a couple of the tenants and they said he is borderline crazy. What really pisses me off, is that it was the first time we had gone down there. If we had done it repeatedly, then poking holes in the tires would make sense. To leave a note saying please and destroying our tires is just an a**hole thing to do. We're going to go back and weld his gate shut.

New truck tire $225
New car tire $50
Getting your gate welded shut for being an a**hole?

Priceless.

Some people stole my wallet once but it was partly my fault. The only time something important was stolen from me was when I lived in Montreal and I stayed in a basement suite, some punks stole a beautiful ring my mother gave me, it was quite expensive but could not get it insured because it would have cost too much money.

I've had two iPods stolen from my car...

Bastards, first time it was my silver mini (my fault, I didn't make my friends lock my car)

Next time they broke in and took my nano the day after Christmas. They also took my sister's CDs from her car.

First time was from the Uni parking lot, second time from right in front of my house.

I hate thieves, and if I catch someone robbing my car, I'm probably going to end up getting arrested for assault, because I will take a baseball bat to their back.

You can't kill/harm someone for taking your property.
In fact you can't touch them while they're doing it.
Unless they're in your home.(in Georgia anyway) Then you can ventilate them.
Or use a baseball bat. But remember, you have to live with your actions for a long time.

I had $60 stolen out of my wallet the other day at the Y. Kind of my fault in a way. My son had a swimming lesson and I was going to soak in the hot tub while he was swimming. I forgot to leave my wallet in the car and didn't think to bring a lock for the locker. At least they were considerate enough to leave my debit/credit cards and my keys.

The first is arguable.

The second is definitely incorrect.

Unless you're somewhere like France. Or California.

Are you kidding. That would be a great memory. It's not like the theif died or anything like that. If he died, that would be difficult to live with.

I don't think so. The liberal court system will have you in jail and the theif will sue you.

Talked to one of my friends on the force:

It you catch someone in the act of stealing from you car and kick thier ass, it's ok.

If it's from thier home, it's ok, but they will probably sue.

I sent two guys to jail and another two to the hospital and they all "lived" with me for a long while.

People say this all the time...

But as I see it, who took those from me took about 30 hours of my life from me (I was averaging $12.50 an hour delivering pizza). It is now as if those 30 hours no longer existed, as I am no longer compensated for the crap I had to put up with there.

That's 30 hours I could've been with my friends, or doing something I enjoyed (or here on macnn)

Well I'm sure they'd be able to find some jerkoff lawyer to take the case. They could probably claim that you were preventing him from making a living or something like that and/or they would say you used excessive force when trying to dispense your own justice. Then ask why you didn't call the police while he was doing the "steaing."

Nothing is ever open and shut. You will be able to find some jerkoff somewhere who will take the case and try to not only make a buck but spin it so that it makes it seem like YOU were the bad guy. NOT the guy stealing from your car, home or whereever.

If you did kill somebody just because he was stealing a ring or something, you are the bad guy.

I got mugged twice in downtown Atlanta.
Once they beat the snot out of me for $3.
The second time I beat the guy into the pavement.
And continued to beat him. If his knife hadn't been too far away, I may have gutted him.

My wife's car was busted into while she was at work(she was teaching dance at the YMCA).
The crackhead busted out the door window and rifled through the car right as the security guard drove by.
And it was all caught on camera.
He got her notebook computer and Ti calculator.
I hope he dies of a crack overdose.

Collecting a paycheck?
I was apalled at the security guards lack of motivation.
Apparently the YMCA was not. They still have the same security company.
