I just upgraded to 8.6 and I cannot use DHCP with my Mediaone cable modem. It worked once and then when I open the TCP/IP control-panel My IP is all messed up and the subnet mask is wrong. MacOS can not find the modem and neither can any applications that use TCP/IP. I did not have this issue before in MacOS 8.5. If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
