Well now ive had my PB for some time, and since then its been nothing but superb, i would not trade this in for any other computer, period. i Have not had any of the acclaimed problems such as hard drive ticking, white spots, latch problems, case warping.. i have no idea what all these are about! i Did have one problem, and that is, my battery life was down from spec,, apple shipped me a new one in less than 24 hours.. problem solved, now it last's for about 4-5hr. Since then i have bought a ScreenSaver from RadTech, a Case from Incase, and a NorthFace backpack, and i think of it as insurance for my PB. The durability on this 15" is remarkable, and i would settle for no less. And besides that, ive added 512ram making out to be 1GB, runs great and like i said, who would want anything But a PB?

There are too many pictures to post here, so here they are:

custom, i took off the superdrive,, thank god because i will never use it.. and added 512MB of ram

So i have the superdrive 15" but without the superdrive, (got it for the backlit keyboard)

i Am having *No* problems, and wow, this is what fun really is i am too happy with it and i believe everyone with this same computer will be. Just dont hold it under a magnifying glass and wait for somthing to happen to it, and it will be one of the best purchaces of your life, apple really got this one right!

I ordered my 15" Superdrive on Wednesday of last week (the "fully loaded" model with one 512 chip so I can expand), and it was in today (Tuesday) morning at about 9:30. I'm pretty taken aback by how fast it took to get here once it shipped too. Woohoo!

The only problem is it's sitting here at work staring at me guiltily (is that a word?)...tonight my friend, we shall play...

Well I called apple today and they said that it should ship tomorrow and since its a custom and coming from overseas it will auto ship with 2-3 day international air (paid for ground... CHA CHING!). Anywho, if it ships tomorrow (wednesday), and magically only takes two days to show up I would be happier than anything!!! Cross those fingers guys.

This sleeve looks good. Is there enough room for the power adapter in the side pocket? Looks like it would be a tight fit from the pictures.

The side pockets i always keep my IPod and its headphones in the front pocket, and the IPod connector in the back pocket, and my wallet on the inside pocket, however yes i think your right its a tight fit, but yes it will fit, you might just see a large square thing from the outside.

Well, i might add now, that i put in a DVD in my drive, and it stopped working, the drive didnt work from then on. There is nothing that i know of wrong with the DVD, however now im going to be sending my PowerBook in to apple.. Their support by the way is on par with exellence. Im not the only person that uses this computer, i frequently allow others to burn CD's so im assuming that's the issue, because it wouldnt break like this for without a good reason.
