I don't know how possible this, but it doesn't seem completely impossible. I was wondering if it was possible to ban certain trolls, but instead of restricting access to the forums/posting, their posts and threads simply couldn't be viewed by anyone.. other than possibly mods and admins. Ideally, they wouldn't have any idea that they were banned. This type of ban would be reserved for trolls... the ones that makes posts or threads just to get attention or simply to be annoying. It's a theory, but since the whole "don't feed the trolls" thing doesn't seem to work, perhaps this might be a bit more interesting. Assuming the trolls don't find this thread.

It's possible that this idea could become a possibility. But I think it's probably impossible.

But when i put members on my ignorelist, the post still show up in the thread. And with the push of one button i can access the text (and i think most of the users will use this option just to enforce their thinking about certain "friends" in the forum). The "invisiban" would be a good option...

He would have changed it if you had been smarter and picked MacChicken or Supergorilla.
