There are hundreds of e-mail programs for the Mac.
Just out of curiosity I ask you: which one is your default?

My pick is: Green"]http://www.eware.fr/dev/index.html]Green Mail[/url] - fast and friendly. Just the features you need - no more, no less.

Yeah, I'm bored ...

In X it's Mail.app. In 9.1 it's Entourage, to which I changed from Eudora when Eudora 5 kept giving me problems.

Outlook Express 5...
Tried a lot of others (including Yahoo, Compuserve, Earthlink, Hotmail), but Outlook is, IMHO, best.

OE5. I'll likely move to Entourage once it's Carbonized. For now I don't bother because Outlook is faster and I don't need the Office integration.

I also use Entourage, and it rocks. Also.. Office integration? I haven't see any of that and don't need it. There are just alot of cool features that Entourage has that Outlook doesn't. Sorry I'm being vague, I'll get some examples later.

rjenkinson: I used to be a Claris Emailer user, but after I found out that it was nolonger being developed (with no HTML support) I switched to Green and have been using it ever since.

shmerek: As long as I can read HTML messages, I'm fine. I don't need to compose one - e-mail is, after all, just a simple mail which doesn't need to be sent as a webpage.

I think you do want to fix it. 5 is just so much better in every way. Back me up guys.

I'd like to hear some detailed experiences for Green. Thanks.

I used to be committed to Netscape for my mail checking. Now I use Eudora 5.1. I think that it is just more convenient for me. I also get to play with Pine to check my university email account.
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

I've been using Mailsmith for a while now. I took a brief look at MacOS X's Mail, but haven't really started using it. It looks interesting, with its "rules".

I don't like OE's single database - too prone to corruption - or its (imo) instability. But other than that it's pretty nice.

I installed cyclonic webmail on my web server so that I can remotely access my webmail. It's actually really good. Works great for remote use. Of course it isn't great with attachments, but that's ok, it's just for remote use.
