I have a cable modem hooked up to an Airport Extreme base station. My laptop is a TiBook 15" 1GHz running the latest OS. Every now and then, on an average of once a day, my airport station freezes on me. All three little lights on it light up and it stays that way. The only solution is to unplug it, count to ten, then plug it in again and then it works.

This is very annoying (of course) and I am absoultely clueless to why it's happening. It seems to have started acting this way soon after an update of to the latest Safari browser, or it could have been an updated Airport firmware.

If anyone have any ideas of what might be happening, please post it here. My 90 days free Apple support has run out and I just don't think it's right that a 4 month old computer and airport should be having these kind of annoying problems.

I'm sorry if these kinds of questions have already been addressed in earlier threads. I'm not an avid user of MacNN.

Thanks.
