I found an old Apple's LaserWriter Printer sitting at one of my co-worker's office and I took it with me.

I'm curious is it worthy to keep "LaserWriter 4/600 PS" printer? It was manufactured back in May 1995.

Any thoughts?

If it works, sure. I like laser printers from the 1990s, they're really solid machines. The toner is also dirt cheap. Remember that in only prints 4 pages per minute. I think that's fine for casual printing.

You'll also want to pick up a localtalk to ethertalk adapter if you want to use it on any modern network.

Snow Leopard doesn't support AppleTalk anymore, though, so you might not be able to print to it except from older machines.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

What about using a Serial to USB adapter connected to a USB print server?

The option could be installing Netatalk and bring back AppleTalk support.
