My girlfriend's boss is looking to pick up an iBook for her and her kids. They're all set save for one major hurdle, talking to their family back in China. They use a service called
QQ (Chinese site). Aparently QQ is one of if not the biggest IM systems in Asia. The QQ people do not make a specific Mac port of their IM application. I did some searching and found this program called
isQ that from what I gather from a Google translation of the site is a QQ client. Trying to download this app however is a royal pain in the something. The linked StuffIt file doesn't work properly because their PHP download page only gives 60KB of the file and says it is completed. The same goes for the source package.
Does anyone have any experience with QQ or maybe even a working mirror of the isQ file? Google doesn't find much information and what it does find I have to run through the translator because it is all in Chinese. Any help would be much appreciated.
P.S. It's nice to have a few minutes to browse the forums again!
