After working for Sears and Safeway I understand the value of customer service that's the only reason both stores are still in business.

That said, commission sales people are EVIL, it's really freaking irritating when I go down to Advance or Futureshop they always tell you SOMETHING and it's a lie and if you know anything about computers it's just obvious. I've stopped talking to sales people until I'm out at the till, and when I'm ready to buy I just pick the one who has been least irritating.

That said I buy my pants at one shop I'm almost certain is commission but generally the guy I buy from is always super helpful and will not try and sell me on anything I don't want. I don't mind commission sales people so long as they realize they're there to help you make up your mind, not simply riffle through your wallet.

Ya Zimph thinks I am lying. Not a wink of sleep for me tonight as Mr. Investigative journalist doesn't believe me

Knowing the creepy **** you do I would be an idiot to tell you. Next thing you know you call the store and give the store my home address. Not that I would be afraid of a little Asian guy after me but why bother

So anywho, I called the sore myself on Thurs and it seems he was still working there, either his boss who came up with the rule doesn't care or they haven't talked to him yet.

And just what creepy stuff do I do SWF?

First you go on about Jesus tapes, then you project some sort of creepy doings onto me..

How in the world would I have your address?

I'd say it's not me that has his internal reality juice shaken up.

Stop being a spaz and give up the number.

If you aren't making anything up, you'd have nothing to worry about.

I predict you again dodge and try to project more silliness in the process .

So I got the T637 a day and a half after the incident.

The phone is very sexy and has a brighter whiter screen compared to the T616. It is also much easier and faster to send a text message. Feels lighter also.

Comes with different themes, games and pictures all of which you can really download anyway.

It does feel more plastic then the T616 as is creaks when you squeese it. The back is very different though.

Awesome phone, the T630 is the same but in the 900 band in in white, it would match the iBooks/iPods/iMacs perfectly.

Despite what you think in your wildly inflated head, it's not all about you here. I'll be sure to never relate a story involving anyone of the 4 million people in the western world named Kevin, for fear that you'll wreak my thread. Or I'll change the name to protect the insolent, at least. Grow. Up.

Z, way to make a perfectly nice thread with no bickering all about you and bickering.

Topic: I want one of those phones. Seems like Verizon doesn't support it tho.

What an idiot, now I know why he is on my ignore list, I mean what an obsessive freak. Just because I mentioned "Kevin" the little rude Asian salesman Zimph things I am talking about him? And who in their right mind would call a store long distance to make sure someone else on the planet has the same name as them cuz some guy they never met on the internet said so.

Back to anything but Zimp...

Anywho, the k700 is the new phone and it is very nice, problem is that it is expensive as hell and not THAT much better then a T6xx. It also seems to have a poor battery.

I like the T630 and the T637, but my T616 has a couple of years left to it. I just replaced part of the cover recently (due to an unfortunate incident involving gravity), and it looks brand new again. I do wish the screen on the T616 was brighter, so am glad that SE has improved that on the newer phones.

I have a TI 637, and here's my take on it.

I looooooooove the bluetooth. Looooooove it. Once an hour though, my computer goes beep, beep, beep if the phone is nearby.

The camera sucks unconcious. I mean AWFUL!. What a waste of technology.

Maybe it's my service (the last week hasn't been so bad) but reception is spotty. I got switched over to "3G" wireless at the same time I got the new phone, though, so I can't really blame it for the mediocre service. it might be ATT Wireless that's screwed up, but I get maybe 60% of my calls. (It'll ring once and go dead before I can answer, people say they called, but I never answered at times when I KNOW I had the phone on my hip, etc.)

Battery life is good, but not quite as advertised. (what's new?)

The golf game is fun.

The numberpad is almost too small for my stumpy fingers.

Yes the camera is crap but it is better then nothing, so I won't complain that much about it. I love the design of all the SE phones, very simple and neat.

I *think* that is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen you write on these boards. Not sure, but it's way up there.

Next time he tells a story involving a "Kevin", he should probably make up some other name, just so you don't go off again thinking the thread's about you.

Happens too often, if you ask me.

I am quite sure it is one of the most sad things I have ever seen here. I mean how lonely does one have to be. And him saying that he know how my mind works even though we have never spoken personally nor met is even more sad. Perhaps he is projecting a relationship between us that is why he has those "sugerbuns" nicknames for me.

Anywho, I would be happy to give the phone number to anyone else here so they can call and confirm someone else on the planet has the name of Kevin. Zimph would be the last person I would give it to after all this scary obsessing. My guess is that nobody else gives a **** and rightly so.

What about some follow-up to this story?
We need a photo of this employee.

God I don't want to walk in there and take a photo of the fool. Although it would be funny to take his pict with the very T637 that I now own that he wouldn't give me.

Like I said I called 3 days after the event and he was still there. My provider did say last week that a representative is personally taking care of the case.

Hehe, ok.

Me: Hi, is Kevin there?
Guy: No... he's not in today. Is there anything I can help you with?
Me: No thanks, I'll try him at home.

Now, do I need to call back and record it this time?

Oh, just the regular - stalking SWG.

Odd: Didn't call him "sugarbuns", though. Must have "relieved" some of his psychological pressure earlier in the day.

That's good to hear... the t616 is retarded with sending text messages. It's like 3 clicks deep to start the message, then you type it out, then to get to your phonebook you have to click through like 6 more things to chose a number. I love how the step before dumping you into your phonebook (where hitting any letter jumps to it) is to put you in a lookup screen so you can type a couple letters and then hit lookup and then be dumped into your phonebook... where you could have just typed a couple letters and jumped there anyway.

Main reason I'm so wary of the new S-Ericssons, which look really nice otherwise.

The interface on their predecessors sucked so bad.

No, it's pretty, and all, but everyone I know who has one absolutely hates something about it. The SMS thing I've heard several times.

All the reviews I've read regarding the k700 and such say the SMS screwup is fixed. I love my t616 other than the text message oddness. Batter life is stellar.

Still no Phone number SWF?

I am betting there is no one by the name of Kevin working there. Or even that worked there.

Yeah you know, it's odd for SWF to talk about me in threads that aren't about me. He is never done that before ever. Mods have never asked him to stop going on and on and on about me in threads I'm not even involved in. Ever. Heck that is about as rare is him making fun of someone, or going on and on about how he doesn't like Christians, while calling them bigots.

So me thinking that he was again.. going on about me is such a far stretch.

NOOOOT <---- (Said in Canadian acent)

BTW I know someone on this forum that has a higher post count per day than me.

But yet none of you go on and on about it. I wonder why.

OH wait. No I don't.

So there it is...

The typical "I know someone worse" and I am going to ignore the fact that I was both wrong and then continued to post, I am a victim, brought god into it somehow and started this whole thing but it is someone else's fault, I am right and must have the last word.

Now back to your regular scheduled programming....

Go back, you got it all wrong bub.

I am saying it wasn't "unusual" or "self centered" to think you were talking about me.

Because you do it often.

Even when I am not part of a thread.

You have done it so much that mods have asked you on more than one occasion to stop.

So no, not unusual to think such things.

What you are trying to do would be like Ca$h trying to act shocked when being accused of registering multiple accounts.

So I just sold my 9 month old used T616 for the same price the new one is costing me after I got the $100 idiot Kevin discount.

For those of you who haven't seen it here they are side by side:

I am saying it wasn't "unusual" or "self centered" to think you were talking about me.

Because you do it often.

Even when I am not part of a thread.

You have done it so much that mods have asked you on more than one occasion to stop.

So no, not unusual to think such things.

What you are trying to do would be like Ca$h trying to act shocked when being accused of registering multiple accounts.
There's something very very wrong with you.
