sorry if this is old... but I wanted to share it with anyone interested.

Also, I wonder, do some of the Mac's have two separate G5 Processor covers and some just have one? My dual 2.5 seems to have just one cover with G5 on it twice.. but this guy has two separate covers...

maybe that's what it is... wonder why they changed it.

The 2.5 have one cover that is bigger.

Rev A G5's have two separate covers, since Rev B this is one. It is also bigger, and covers more of the rear fans. I think they changed it because this way maybe they can control the airflow better all the way to the back, instead of having an opening between the end of the heatsinks and the rear fans ...
