Can you suggest any apps related to prescription, medicines, etcetera? Anything health related.

Not apps per se, but I can answer questions you have about the FitBit (digital pedometer), Withings scale (wifi enabled scale), and the Telecare blood glucose monitor (cellular enabled BGM), which all have their own app.

@ subego - yeah, those are just cool, very useful apps. helpful to me and my folks too. my folks are diabetics so the Telecare is just a click away for me to monitor their blood glucose asap. thanks!

So, "spammer" is one of the words in your poop filter now?

I knew as soon as someone brought up ass, there'd be "spammer" to follow.

diabetes pal by telcare is just great! and it's free! no need for old school blood glucose monitoring using a pen and paper... but the thing is my mom still uses the old school thingy so my the statistics in my diabetes pal app is just some sorta back up or my personal copy. nice backgrounds too as opposed to those boring graphs etc.

by the way, just a heads up to all those looking for health related apps. I found out this “Insulin Nation” app and I am currently navigating through it. Looks like it’s one interesting and beneficial app too!

For medical apps, I recommend:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nejm-...373156254?mt=8

This app will make you appreciate how lucky you are, you do not have these conditions:

One great app! I do think it’s suited for those studying a medical course and at frist I was overwhelmed, but I got amazed with the images and descriptions. Very informative. Thanks!

@angel - Thank you for sharing that app. Will check it out but not sure though if I am going to install it. Will recommend it upon seeing its specs/ reviews etc. Hope it is free too! :-D HealthTap is great too for times that we have to be always in contact with my folks’ primary care physicians. It also helped us when their endocrinologist was away for a couple of days and we needed to share some monitoring with her that cannot be just done through text.
