No, Its suposed to aid front traction when steering. There's lots of info about them on the Internet! It's supposedly one of the best handling mods for the mk5, and for 100 quid I couldn't say no, just need to get it fitted now!

Yes. It would have been automatic, but the resale value of the boards would plummet.

That background makes me think of moisture soaked plywood covered in carpet sitting out in the cold. It's okay though, because it's covered in epoxy. But we all know it's cracking and separating right now. Way to go Winter!

Picking on Rob is so much less fun when he's not around to defend himself, ain't it?

So... got some new brakes. Aston Martin DB9 calipers and 362mm AP racing rotors.

3" Stainless exhaust with black ceramic tips...

And now 320bhp.

He's actually been active as of late August. I know he was moving back to Canada (he couldn't help but remind everyone of that over and over again) so maybe he's busy.

Well, I don't know the first thing about music copyright infringement, but I can lie about it, if that helps.

The car did great. Would love to do more, but it would involve spending more money on it that I dont have. Cadwell UK is quite brutal on the car and it showed very quickly that its just not set up for that kind of use. Car is on 140k miles now so its getting on a bit.

I would love a mk7 GTI PP.... they can be made to be very very quick on stock hardware.

Yup. Tracks show up the difference e between fast road setups and race setups pretty quickly. Doesn't stop them being fun just makes you realise how hard race tec has to work.

Speaking of which, visa-versa. Had a spin in a friends race car, converted to road use. Although it was amazing and very very brutal, it was just not in any real sense a usable road car.

Dear god it was quick though!!

Yeah. Wish we got the Clubsport here. I have the PP and with a tune it’s a beast. Clutch is crap though.

I also got a new ride - a folding bicycle with 16" wheels. No pictures because I don't know of a hosting site (any recommendations for free?). Definitely fun and portable. People always pass me though which is no big deal. I like it. Maybe go for 20" wheel next.
