I borrowed my feinds ipod, and it is the mac verion. It should be working fine, but for some reason right after I put all my songs on it from i tunes, I get a folder icon with a ! alert whenever I try to fire it up. Any advice?

reinstall the latest ipod software and start over. that may do the trick.
