actually, i think it just says 'all your base are belong to us' the third word starts with a tall letter and is too short to be 'outlines' and the last word is too short to be 'omni' the sentence after that starts with You but i can't read the rest.

No, it definitely says 'All your base are belong to us' - I just threw 'Omni' and 'outline' into the quote for the subject of the post. It actually looks like the each line is a quote from that game... I think the second line (in blue) says "What happened? Somebody set up us the bomb"

A very old japanese game that was translated very wrong. You saw the "evil master" say: "All your base are belong to us.".

http://rmitz.org/AYB3.swf

first line of the icon is 'In A.D. 2101 War was Beginning'

second line is 'What happen? somebody set us up the bomb'

third line is 'How are you gentleman!!'

fourth is, of course, 'All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction.'

fifth is 'You have no chance to survive make your time'

I guess we need to come up with a new easter egg now that everybody's found this one. Maybe I should hide Trogdor somewhere, or something...

It was Zero Wing, and I think it was on the SNES. I downloaded the ROM when AYBABTU fever was at its max.

If anybody cares, the background track to that, uh, music video is "Invasion of the Gabber Robots" by the Laziest Men on Mars. Most of their other stuff is, unsurprisingly, dire, but thtere is a semi-decent remix of The Terrible Secret of space around.

It was for the Sega Genesis, actually... and I wish I'd known that no one else had seen the fine print on that icon; I noticed it months ago.

Put a hidden user default into OmniDiskSweeper that changes the "Delete" button so it says "Burninate", with a little Trogdor icon. OmniDiskBurninator!!
