I have nothing against gay people. Nothing whatsoever. I think people should be able to get their rocks off however they want to. Doesn't bother me. However, I have noticed a very large number of gay people here.... hence the poll, because I'm curious. No, not that kind of curious. Just about hte demographic here.

I've accepted the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, thus in that one instance He atoned for all the since I had and would commit. That said I don't think simply being gay is a sin. I think it would be sinful for me to go out and actively try and have sex with another guy. But I haven't done that. I'm simply gay. So no I won't be in hell.
Oh and you asked earlier how my church feels about it? They made up reasons less controversial to eject me from ministry.

Whats the motive behind this poll? I am guessing that its to separate the men from the boys (so to speak) to narrow the focus for dating. Next we'll be asked for a pic and a bio.

^^^ lol. God knows. Thing is I've never, ever been attracted to guys, despite wondering if I was. I love women; their being, taste, quirks, idiosyncrasities yadayada.... But when I was younger I did explore and henceforth discovered which side of the street I walked down.

You know what if I can have sex in good conscience I will. But I will not do anything that goes against my personal convictions. And as for Ambush, I have been described by most of my friends recently as "not fat" the worst they'll let me be called is "chunky". I'm still not super lean or anything, but here's a more recent photo.

the chin is largely because my face was pulled in fairly close to my neck as I gave the camera a strange look. Sadly I need to get this friend to start taking good photos of me. The problem is I'm a really good photographer and can pick the right moment to take a photo when in a group... I have no friends that take good photos of me. There's only been one person who ever took a genuinely good photo of me and that was last year at the opening of the Yorkdale Apple store.

Nice little construct you've got there to whitewash your conscience. None of my business really, but be prepared for a life filled with complexes and guilt.

BTW, no religion on this planet actually 'condems' its followers to 'hell' for being gay. Most of this kind of thinking comes from culturally and socially biased attitudes at the time the relevant religious texts were altered and modified. Every age has its biases, - no need to carry them into the present though.

One more reason though to reject literalism and fundamentalism.
