Anyone considering buying an Xbox 360 Elite?
I don't have an Xbox 360, Wii, or PS3. And I've been considering buy one of these next-gen machines. What would you recommend?

The Elite is the only Xbox model that's worth considering, IMO.
If you just want a game console, get the Wii.
If you want a game console and a media center, get the Xbox.
PS3 is an expensive turd and the sales figures show it.

Wii.
Super Paper Mario, Sonic and the Secret Rings and Zelda. Make it worth it.

I've tried the 360...twice. I got rid of it twice.
I had a Wii, but only sold it because I made a $150 profit off of it. I'm thinking about getting one again as soon as one becomes available in this area.
Go for the Wii, and let it's critics jump and sniff.

If I didn't already have a 360 I would definitely consider getting one. Out of the three consoles this generation my 360 by far, hands down, gets the most usage.

The 360 is on my list of toys to buy but will wait till later in year I think. I still don't trust the build quality.
I think i'll wait to see if the rumored cpu change happens. This would at least cool the beast down a bit hopefully.
Anyway, I just bought a Wii and am very happy to play that

In our house, the 360 is the most played console as well...especially PGR3, Gears of War, and Oblivion. Wii is fun until you beat Zelda, all the other games gets really boring within a hour of game play (once in a while we will pick up and play Wario Ware, which is really fun multiplayer)...but the really good Wii games coming out in the fall so might be a good time to get one now.

The new ones are much quieter. A friend just got one and you can barely hear it.
