I just received an invitation by Adobe to go on their web site to complete a form on inDesign and in the questions they ask when you are going to go on Mac OS X and if you expect to be on OS X when they release the next version of inDesign...

If you receive this message from Adobe, please go and fill it out, so that we can get inDesign on OS X. And maybe at the same time, photoshop, illustrator, etc...

Here's the link, but you need a 6 number password provided by them to fill it out... They only want owners of inDesign to take it.

[edit] well, that answered my question...

"Imagine the disincentive to software development if after months of work another company could come along and copy your work and market it under its own name...without legal restraints to such copying, companies like Apple could not afford to advance the state of the art."

The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive.
