Hi all, I just bought and flashed a PC ATI radeon 8500 LE 64 meg card..and it works great..I used the 230/230 mod..and now I am wondering do I use the latest firmware update from ATI for use with mac cards now that it works as a MAC card? or will that mess it up? thanks Mark

Okay I flashed the radeon successfully, and then I updated the firmware to 126 (the latest on ATI's site)...works excellent..the only problem I have is it still thinks I have two displays hooked up when I don't..but games are awsome...even over the radeon 7500 in my laptop...and way better than the geforce I replaced! hope this might help someone else who wants to save half the price of a retail mac version!...cheers Mark

I did a non Le version last year because of the problems noted by those who have tried Le versions, some succeeded some did not.
Won't find a better place for info and trouble shooting...check it out.
