Hi all, this might be a repost but the last couple of days my ibook 800 is been annoying me...I use it as my sole computer...I leave it running most of the day and always put it too sleep when I am gone..2 days ago I noticed that upon waking from sleep it takes a few minutes longer for the ethernet to establish a connection..and it got worse.today as I woke it up and tried to connect nothing...no lan link light on the ADSL modem...tried phoning apple and did everything they said..including a freakin fresh install of OSX 10.2 and it worked long enough to dload the 100 + megs in updates...rebooted nutting at all..wiggled the wires, reset the modem..GRRR nothing! booted from the hardware test cd and the light on the lan link lights up..rebooted again nothing! anyone have a problem with dead flaky ethernet ports on the ibooks??? I sent it to a dealer today..just curious what cause this...thanks Mark
