Hello - Hope you "guys" can help...

I have a G3 Pismo 500 Powerbook and had some strange problems where, ultimately, I had to keep taking the processor card and reinstalling it to get it to boot before it stopped booting all together! Since then, I replaced the "bottom" half with one that had a good logic board, PMU, AC/sound card and good PRAM Battery... When I reinstalled the processor card from the "old" bottom, it would not boot nor would it give me the diagnostic beeps to let me know if the processor card, RAM, etc. may be bad... I tried resetting the PRAM and PMU... Any thoughts...

Thanks in advance!

Well I'm guessing that it's just plain dead. Might be time for an upgrade.
