This is really starting to piss me off. Yesterday, my copy of Tiger finally came in the mail. I did a clean install (upgrade Tiger disc, so I reinstalled Panther, updated it, then installed Tiger). I transferred over all of my pictures from my other computer and started to organize them through iPhoto. Well, every now and then while I'm creating albums and organizing the pictures, iPhoto just closes on me. I send the error report to Apple each time, but the thing that pisses me off the most about iPhoto crashing is that it does NOT save any of my work. I organized hundreds of pictures into separate albums, and iPhoto just crashes, without saving any of it.

Does anyone else have problems like this one? When will Apple have a Tiger update... this is getting ridiculous.

i dont think its the amount or size of the pictures.. iphoto just shuts down on me while im organizing photos. i just set up at least 20 different albums.. and it shut down on me. so it didnt save anything.. this is probably the 10th time that this has happened. i can easily say that i am PISSED off.. apple needs to fix this. i sent in countless reports. ahhhhhhhhhhh so frustrated.

My bone to pick with OSX Tiger is the networking of printers. My iPhoto fine, re-organised some images yesterday without any problem, I have almost 1.5gb of images in it. It has force quit once since the installation, that's it.

Yep - loads of iPhoto problems. I wonder if deleting the thumbnail files will fix it ? I also get a problem when editing files where the file is saved back a lot brighter/overexposed than I actually edited it to.

Appleinsider is reporting that 10.4.1 is coming soon and includes an fix for iPhoto, so here's hoping....
