In both Quicktime Player 7 and the current Quicktime Player (v10) the current frame position is given by an HH:MM:SS counter in the lower left of the controller bar.

Unfortunately, it's in something like 10 or 12 point text, which is very hard to read for some of our older employees. We need to be able to read this time mark while working from the media.

Does anybody know of an simple application that can play quicktime files and provide a much, much larger display of the current file time. Large as in like 72 point, or 128 point, etc. Something easily read from a distance while the file is being played for readers reader with Presbyopia (people who need reading glasses).

We don't want to have to render window burn on each and every quicktime file as that takes way too long. We need to be able to open a file for a client, play it, and see the current file time in a large readable format. Universal Accessibility DOES not work well for this work flow because it zooms the entire screen not just a small area of it.

checked it out. While it does play the numbers 'bigger', that advantage is completely offset by the fact that the app pretty much takes up the entire screen and you can't minimize the size of the space it uses. Didn't measure it, but it looks like it takes 1280x720 worth of screen real estate.

That's pretty annoying.

We need something that just plays the numbers bigger but doesn't take over the entire screen to do so.
