Is that possible? My 5400 monitor blewup on me. And after it died there was this smell, ewww! Oh well I can get me hands on another similar design machine. That brings the title into context here. Anyone? I dont see mucho difference in these two machines. Although I think the 5400 holds IDE drives. Any other advice? I have a lot of stuff in the 5400 hard drive that need to use etc.

Well one problem might be the power supply. It might not have enough power and not provide a 3.3v line needed by PCI motherboards (the 5200 is not PCI, the 5400 is). If you can swap the PSU as well then you should have no problems. The 5200 also uses IDE hard drives - you can just replace the 5200's HD with the one from the 5400.
