Does anyone know if AOL is carbonizing (or, pinch me 'cause I'm dreaming) cocoaizing AIM? I recall reading something about a possible Apple messenging program called iTalk somewhere, though with all the uprorar over not having a DVD player native to X, I would be amazed if they released a new program. I've tried Fire to chat on X PB, but it didn't measure up feature-wise to AIM. Will I be Classic-bound for instant messenging come Saturday?

I know AOL has said that AOL 6.0 will enter beta right after OS X is released, and that it will be Carbonized. No word about AIM, but if you noticed it's been 3 months since a new version of AIM has been released, so AIM for OS X might follow up soon afterwards.

A new version of Fire came out over the weekend, it's supposed to have a lot of bug fixes, i'd see how that works.
