Had my G4 933 for a week now having just switched after a life of Windows. Everything worked straight out of the box, (no dead pixels ) and the airport extreme connected straight into my home network.
Very impressed so far. Easy to transfer to Mac OS, nice and stable, itunes and iphoto work really well, so I'm now a convert!
A couple of Windows features I miss, window resizing, the scroll pad, forward delete but I'm sure I will soon get used to the mac way of doing it.
My home PC (XP) crashed 2 days ago, 3rd time this year so after a couple of fustrating days trying to fix XP I like my mac even more.
No real questions yet, just some advice to anyone struggling to deciding win/mac. Go for the mac!!

Change is good!

How is the battery life? I heard Windows notebooks sucks on this category.

Thanks for the tips. Battery life on win notebooks is truly awful. Can't even watch a full DVD! Taking my first transatlantic trip with the mac next week - hoping to get decent battery life on the flight.

Just remember to turn down the brightness as low as you can stand and you should do fine.
