I just know that I cuffed a guy in the back of the head for pushing my wife out of the way when he was trying to climb an escalator. He didn't say, "excuse me" or anything like that, just elbowed her aside. "Manners, d-bag, do you have any?"

Was your wife standing on the left and blocking off the entire escalator for people who are in a hurry and want to walk up it? If so, I hope you gave her a slap too - teach her some manners!

/slap

Also, would you just admit it was some scrawny kid? Cuffing a dude in the back of the head is pretty lame, especially more so when you then get involved in a fistfight, with another man, on a public escalator.

Looking through a shopping bag, deciding if we'd gotten enough gifts for a baby shower? It's okay, though. The guy apologized after I swatted him. Next time he'll say, "excuse me" instead of just elbowing someone in the back to get them out of his way.

and no, the entire escalator wasn't blocked, but I guess he felt that he wanted more than what was available so he elbowed her and almost knocked her down the stairs. He's actually very lucky, if it happened now while she's pregnant...

I didn't want to press charges, I think I was able to get my point across without involving the police.

You purposely elbow a defenseless woman in the back, and ya takes yer chances. The woman behind us said I should have decked him. I'm very proud of my self-restraint.

"Officer, as you can see it was self-defense. What if it was your pregnant wife being attacked from behind?"

Likely I wouldn't have, though. I would have just smacked him in the head, grabbed him by the scruff, and dragged him to security.

People who float in and out of vehicle lanes make me want to sideswipe them into oncoming traffic.

I got one.

People who take the elevator to or from the second floor—particularly if aforesaid people are horribly obese.

Also, people who on any floor hold the elevator door open with their foot for some length of time because they are having a conversation with some one exiting the elevator.
